well yes but the route where you get to join her was a later addition so the original intent was she was going to be a major antagonist for everyone

i don't think you can justify starting a war. considering the person she starts the war against also went through similar horrors you'd be saying at the same time she was justified in doing the things she did at the same time. if anything three houses is a game with no real heroes which many say...
