That's fair. It would still facilitate a look that isn't akin to a bowl of pudding. Like watching Marth speak reminds me of when Neo can't talk cause his mouth is melting shut it's kinda creepy looking lol

The Visual art styles of Smash have definitely changed over the years especially to match what the hardware can do. Ultimate... I was fine with it until I saw just how plastic everyone looks as if they're perfectly sculpted mannequins ... Now I can't unsee it and it bothers me lol. I'd like more...

The game sells itself there's no need for gimmicks or a ridiculous huge roster or anything. There will be some mechanical tweaks or maybe the addition of a new mechanic, there will be 1-player mode overhauls again maybe return of lost modes or a revisit to sse styled adventure, a decent amount...

I really don't think Ultimate is re-releasing in any form, especially if Switch 2 is backwards compatibile. Relicensing Ultimate's fighters would interfere with NEW liscening requirements to say nothing about what happens when they're not a returning character.

Wait, Punch Out!, really!? You never cease to surprise me but then again that's why I love this place cause there's so much variety even though we all celebrate Smash. It's a fun franchise IMHO and my favorite is the NES game.

Metal Gear ... I used to say it was a must play and you're missing out and blah blah but it's so old lol but if you ever have a chance check it out!
