Will Melee still reign?

I've been wondering... when Brawl is released, will Melee still be played in MLG tourneys? As far as I know, Smash Bros original is not, so would Melee evacuate the MLG world to be replaced by Brawl? I expect this will depend on Brawl's success. If Brawl is a big letdown with extreme imbalance, I imagine nothing would change. Otherwise... what can we expect?

Well... Considering that Melee has already been taken off the MGL line-up, it can ONLY be replaced by Brawl at this point - that is considering if MGL looks SSB's way again, which is likely...

I believe that Melee tourneys will still go on for many months after Brawl's release because Brawl would be brand new and we would be slowly getting used to it. I think it will take many months for Brawl to be played competitively.
