I think the Smoke Ball will be a great Party Item, hoping that the Party Ball will be left out of this game, as it really annoyed me truthfuly. I could just see this hitting the ground and making smoke go everywhere... I wonder how long it lasts, or how thick it truly is... Wario would be deadly in this!

Just for organization's sake, I think each official update topic should include the title, date in parentheses.

Example:
"Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary (Friday, August 3rd, 2007)"

You are correct. Which will suck. Please be gentle on your friendly neighborhood modding staff.

This will be fixed when upcoming changes go live. This forum will be set so that only mods can post new topics.

anyway here is my understanding

this thread will be the place that people disguss the new update until it has an official thread

when that thread is created people must now discuss the update in that thread

of course not all updates are big enough for a thread so i'm guessing that there will be threads for each character (in the character discussion area), threads for each stage (in the stage discussion area), one general item thread, one at and pokemon thread, one music thread, one general fs thread, one new techniques thread, and big updates will get own threads (adventure mode)

two threads are also just for updates,

the official brawl info thread is more general update talking, and the omg thread is for predictions

this will be probably hectic in the first few weeks but soon only mods can make threads in this area bringing order

well.... it looks like we got alot of really GOOD info last week so im not expecting that much info this week besides items,music, AT's and maybe a character

on topic: the smoke bomb can have really good uses for characters who can't seem to charge up their attacks before getting hit though alot of people don't see the point in this update.............

You smoke bomb thing gave me an idea. What if you couldn't grab, block, roll, charge attacks, ect in the smoke. It makes sense and would be cool with that use but I doubt it's the case...

All I can say is what took you so long. I thought of having a new thread like this when the site was first getting updates. This reminds me exactly of the time when the only things we could post about brawl had to be in one thread. All I can say is that you moderators are lagging with ideas.

And when Brawl does come out be sure to get a new forum that allows us to look for players and get their friend codes so we can face them at that specific time. It will make the whole friendcode ordeal a lot simpler. And also dont take months before making the thread just make it on day one.

I agree. The updates have been missing those ever so sweet double posts. Even if they aren't done everyday, it'd still be nice to see them a bit more often. Still, you can really complain when every weekday you get a new tidbit about Brawl. Beggers can't be choosers. So maybe some updates are cooler than others (ie: Ike vs. Banana Peel... :p), at least it's something.
Also, I wonder if Sakurai needs clearance from the rest of his team or from Nintendo to reveal this stuff.
