Petty in brawl?

I checked out the new subspace vid this morning and guess what i saw. Petty. does this mean he is a character you can unlock? i know he has been gaining popularity latly but i don't think he should be in brawl. to be honest, i never did like him. he was horrable boss in sunshine. i just can't see him being that good. does anyone else have an opinion?

He has been in more games than sunshine... He's goinfg to be in Galaxy... (But as a phrahanasaurus)
And he had made an appearence in mario gold, sunshine, and duouble dash... mabey hes just part of mario's adventure mode...

His name is Petey.
Petty is a word meaning "pathetic", "lowly", etc.
And Petey is one of my favorite Mario characters. If I didn't horribly need speed in Mario Strikers Charged, I'd play as him all the time.
