Oh, and Andrew, Sakurai said he'd like to have a roster of around 45-50. Then again, he's HOPING their's internet in the game. So, that sounds like a fat chance.

34 is a weak number. Since there's 26 character's in Melee, if every character were kept from Melee's roster that would be an addition of only 8.. meaning we wouldn't be seeing any newcomers because we already have 8.

I think doubling is too much to say. 50 is quite A LOT to put in. We'd end up seeing like 10 wtf characters that no one expected and be worst than Pokemon Trainer.

I am going for 40 give or take 5 or so. I've made a list of my own and 36 seems plausible but I am hoping for around 40.

Hmm that's interesting, that list doesn't look as absurd as I first thought however, when it comes to balancing 50 characters that seems like alot of work to do. 50 characters could happen.... I just wouldn't go into expecting that amount.

those numbers sound good, but personally even if 50 is a largely absurb number, I think it would be best if Sakurai would indeed put 50 or at least close to it like 43-47 since it's probably gonna be his last smash, and might very well be the last best smash so it would be logical if he included as much as he could on his last one

1. The main character of the first game in the Golden Sun series, which is an underrated series. Still he would make a perfect playable character, so why not? A lot of people seem to want him in as well.
2. True. I would be disappointed if I saw Daisy on the final roster.

40-50 is better because 34 is too small, with so many new and old characters from Nintendo's past, 40-50 characters deserve to make it.

I read some where about game balance, and how variety makes the game balanced. 40-50 would add a lot of variety, and I'm sure Sakurai's team is creative and had plenty of time to create these characters and Brawl, which will be one of the best games.

VERY implausible. There's no chance that there will be LOWER representation for LoZ in Brawl. I doubt Sukapon, Ray, and Little Mac's chances. Muddy Mole just makes you look silly as heck.

It would also be better if Link can transform to Wolf Link like in Twilight Princess and you can use Midna as an grapple or a tether recovery. And they can also put the attacks that they had in twilight princess...
