And Fawriel, I like Woodwind Orchestra too... but in the end, to me it's just different. Not better, not worse. Maybe more artistic but less moody? I guess we needed something a bit more direct, even if we had to sacrifice a TAD in the artistic department. Eh, whatever, you know the reasons already! Just trying to help you feel better about it. ;) Oh, and yeah it's good that we're not making another forum. I've always though it's best not to branch out too much anyway, when we have such an awesome hub already. (SWF) I agree, we could use a little e-drama, and we could also stand to get sucked into the "War of the Clubs." (Note, I don't mean crazy flaming, just representation.)

Those are the ranks that all members are in, there are also other titles members can have (Like artist for Stryk's or something).

First off, we are a little too few for so many ranks.
Secondly, this seems unnecessary, it's literally degrading for those at the bottom, and how on earth are we supposed to measure the "quality" of a member? I think it's too militant for a club about a little blond kid in green clothes who goes on adventures with a fairy. Not even R.I.D.L.E.Y. had such ranks, if I'm not mistaken. o_0

Or does anyone desperately want a rank?

So the blue text should maybe stay? I'll think about whether or not to delete it. And I assume you mean I can change the KotDK right? I just kind of put that there without much effort. Do you think I could incorporate something else (image) with a WW Link/KotDK theme while also retaining the "dunked" image? Not sure I could do it without looking cluttered, but I'm definitely open to suggestions.

Well you wanted this clan to be taken more seriously, the quality of a member will be decided by you, new members go at the lowest rank and the more they post and contribute here the higher up they go, it will give people a motive to stay in this thread and it will give a good idea of what members represent our club.

If you want this club to stay on and stay together after Brawls release then I suggest this otherwise its just a list with a name.

Well, I suppose I'll try to think of some way to handle ranks and such. Maybe there's some way to make them more useful, or at least more descriptive than to just make them like a scale from 1 to 5.
Maybe different ranks for people who often argue for Link ( Link to the Snitch ) along the line of "Defender", a rank for people with lots of posts here...

Hmm... ranks are definitely interesting, but very tricky to deal with. I say this, because once something is instated, it is very difficult to change or remove it without losing all credibility. If I can stress one thing, it's that we get it as close to perfect as possible before trying to instate any kind of ranks. Also, I think cutting it down to 4 ranks would be better, perhaps even 3.

Scenario 1

(We can rename all titles to match Zelda games, I'm only trying to convey meaning.)

–Position 1: Leader (Basically Fawriel, and we can figure out his powers/responsibilities later.)
–Position 2: 4 or 6 "Senators" who vote on future subjects so if they are evenly divided, the leader can break the tie. ("Sages" could work, but it's slightly overused.)
–Position 3: Nobles who are basically responsible for our reputation as a whole. Nobles can also be elected to the Senate if any Senators need replacing. (Possibly promoted Citizens recognized for good or at least regular posting??)
–Position 4: Citizens are the default title once joining the club, and making the list.

Now... I don't know if I'm down for that many positions, so here's

Scenario 2

Kind of the same, but with positions 3 and 4 combined into 1. If you guys want room for promotion, then this probably isn't the best scenario. However, the majority would be equals with each other, and our nice comfortable atmosphere could stay intact. I could go either way, but that's one observation. Also, the Senate could be expanded to include a much larger group, like an even number of about 12 to 20-ish. (...depending on how much we grow in the coming weeks). So, here's what it'd look like.

–Position 1: Leader
–Position 2: Senators (12 to 20-ish... less if we don't get many new members very fast)
–Position 3: Nobles (committing one's self to the club is noble in itself)

Not necessarily a new scenario, but I'll just say, that Scenario 2 could also just be as it is, but back to the low number of Senators. (4 or 6) I kind of like that actually... (If we go with a lower number, it might be better to say "Counselors.")

Of course, if we want to get crazy, we can make a two person position of "Advisers" that the leader selects... I don't know. :/ That might suck.

Now I know it sounds like I'm really into ranks and everything, but let's also leave the option open to NOT HAVE RANKS AT ALL. Thanks for reading.

Yeah, obviously I hope those "leaks" turn out to be true, but wasn't one of the first rumors about Brawl that WW Link would be replacing Y Link? I doubt that rumor had any grounds, but on the other hand, we already KNOW he'll be in, so these rumors and leaks, are irrelevant! ;)

I think I'd do good in advertising for this thread anywayz. I'm not so good in debates (Link to the Snitch, remember that whole Midna thing? You made me agree with you at one point, but I don't know why I stopped posting for that...sorry if you were double-teamed by all the Midna fans!), so I probably won't post too much with those things (hell, ,my first "debate" was with KevinM and some other people, while I was still ignorant about the Tier List (and the word ignorant XD ) trying to stand my ground from being flamed coz I'm a YLink user o_O).

It's not that I need official confirmation, it's all these leaks that keep being thrown about. If those leaks are correct, Brawl's roster is an insult, and I might consider wasting my hard-earned money on something better.

ROB is practically deconfirmed through Dojo updates, and the person who claimed to have the game only showed us stuff that could easily be faked, which makes no sense if he already took photos of box, CD and roster to show us in the first place.
