I must admit, I didn't really care when this was a rumor. But seeing him in the game brings memories of my favorite Zelda game. He'll be my #3, after Snake and Olimar. and I'll be playing so much #3 will hardly mean anything.

Also, since I'm not gonna watch the video, can someone please tell me if he at least has decent idle animation, or like... does his hair move around and stuff? Or is he just a solid chunk of polygons?

*Sigh* I don't know... yes, he looks different than we expected/wanted, and yes he seems rather clone-ish, (apparently) but perhaps Sakurai was on the fence with him, and we just barely lucked out and got him. I know what Fawriel would say to that, and yes, it's a good argument, but eventually, as we have no real influence other than "voting with our dollar," we will have to move on and accept the game how it is. None of us are going to refuse to buy it... even if hundreds of us did... it wouldn't affect anything. (Maybe hundreds of thousands? ;))

I don't know how much more of this I can take. I might have to take a long vacation from these boards. Knight against Knight, friend against friend? I guess this is just going to be going on for a while, and while some are getting over it, or are actually perfectly happy, others are still voicing their discontent. And then, to make matters worse, people take that too personally, and defend the game without considering that they are just voicing their frustration. Everyone knows that they will play the game, and enjoy, it... it's just some people are troubled by just how much they have to accept before they can relax and have fun. I mean, some of the choices made for Brawl are rather baffling.

Hmm... that was rather long winded... maybe I should put this Wind Waker away while typing up posts.

I would like to say that Toon Link is a horrible, horrible name.That's just his Japanese name. Though, what name would you recommend, bearing in mind that Sakurai probably wanted the name to represent the character as he is, rather than a game from which he originated.

Though I it's saddening that he's a clone...I still main him though, it'll probably remind me of Young Link.

Brawl really seems like SSB64 though, what with getting C. Falcon and Ness as secrets, the somewhat slow consecutive hit attacks, etc. Yeah it brings it all classic again, but I just seemed to like Melee a lot better. Oh well, still can't wait until I get it XD

The thread is about Stryks' War of the Clubs. It's a pretty nice comic about the character clubs, and considering that we're one of the few who "won", that should be interesting by itself already, no?

Oh well, it seems Toon Link turned out to be some sort of Link-clone (it burns me to say that). Toon Link went against the things I wanted him to be: Cel Shaded, jumpy, NOT a Link-clone.
But again I say that I will still probably main him 'cause he seems to have replaced YLink, only looking different.

Ironically, when I scrolled to the post and read where it said "free porn", my computer slowed down hahaha
But that's only 'cause I have almost 2 gigs worth of music...I need a flashdrive...

I dunno, maybe I'll participate some other time when I'll actually be active for a while.

Yeah it sounded weird to me too. Before, I just liked to get good test scores and hardly do work so I'd just draw random stuff, but I notice I do my work pretty fast, and I have some free time during "study hall" for band so haha

Well, I said I wouldn't main a character because I like them, but Megaman (sheds tear), and Wind Waker Young Link. I'ma gonna main Wind Waker Link (despite him being the steriotypical "clone"), and I shall PWN ALL! :) :grin: ;)

I've also been thinking, should I just draw the Knights that are always active, or everyone for equality? Because (and I mean no harm) some people just go "Hey I like YLink/WW Link, can I join?" and I hardly ever see them in the thread...
