Take a Stand for the Important Stuff... Bananas.

Today’s update on the dojo is kind of short and lacking, but the video, (which can also be fetched from GameTrailers, minus actual sound in the scene) makes up for it. The video shows Koopa’s underlings driving off with DK’s stash as DK pummels the remaining baddies who got left behind. The video is quite impressive in that Sakurai gave Diddy Kong a very Matrix-esque feel to it just for sake of it (<em>I’m assuming</em>). After Diddy knocks out the Bullet Bills launched by a Goomba with his Peanut Gun, DK and Diddy take a stance making it clear of their intentions to get their banana horde back. The clip ends with them jumping off the cliff, which presumably starts the stage.

Well if nothing else, this video was good in extracting one of the Rumble falls songs. Pretty nice tune I must say. Sadly I think this and next week will be E for all leftover weeks, the ultimate curse for being so obsessed with the game.

What if this isnt a 'we already knew that update'? My theory; that each character-- or 'universe' may have his/her/its own little 'mission' mode. DKs is.. gettinghis bananas back. I thought it interesting that it was tagged under 'game modes'...

this may mean that the 'charactr/universe mission' may be a game mode, w/ each one being a subset w/in that. just a thought

I know, I know. What I should have said was: "I like the new sound of the Kongo Jungle Theme."
It sounds so epic, and I think that's what Sakurai is going for with the songs because a lot of songs seem less "heart-pounding" and more "epic".

If the release date wasn't pushed back two months and a week, I'm sure Sakurai would have more than willingly put up a two-fer with the videos. Hopefully, though we'll get a two-fer for both introduction CGIs (The ones with Mario/Kirby/Peach/Zelda/Pit/Petey Piranha/Subspace Army/Wario.)

ANYWAYS, I'm sure you'll get the option of more than just two characters at some point. See that bar on the right with those Smash Emblems? Betcha that stands for how many characters you have in your party.
