Here we have a picture of gameplay featuring Red.
But the neither the user controlled Charizard nor the CPU Ivysaur have the stamina meter/bar/number/ranking that the Dojo previously refered to. You guys think they decided to scrap the idea? It's clearly nowhere in this photo...

I don't think they ever said there would be a bar. They mentioned stamina, but I don't think they mentioned a visible meter. When you use the same move more than once in a row with any other character, the amount of damage it does decreases, but it doesn't let you know. Maybe it'll be like that.

They might of gotten rid of the idea, but maybe its the event mode thats causing that....yet again.
Actually, do you like idea of stamina for charziard, ivysaur, and squirtle?

I was already wondering where that bar was at too, but I guess it just isn't visable.. I wonder how it will work out then.

The Pokemon probably just start panting during their idle animation or their eyes droop. Not to mention the noticeable lessening of abilities...whatever those are.

The way I imagined the mechainic working is that the Pokemon start doing less damage, and they're gasping when their Stamina is low. I would have prefered no Stamina at all, oh well.

Actually I'm thinking there may be a little more to this event than we know.
Notice both Red players have 3 stock and both Pikachus have 1 stock. Assuming this is the how the match starts, maybe each of Red's pokemon has one stock each and unlimited stamina.
For example, if Ivysaur is knocked out, you're left with Squirtle and Charizard. Remember, that would be just for this event. If thats how it normally works, you have to knock out PT three times as much as a regular character in a normal match.
I think they're still keeping Red under wraps a bit.

Yeah, I always thought that maybe they'll start gasping for air or something, and their attacks will do less damage. Like what everyone else thinks.
Great minds think alike!

Great minds think alike! They will also probably have shorter double jumps, run slower, and possibly lag more. It seems Sakurai definitely does not want the same thing that happened with Zelda/Sheik to happen again, and stamina may hit your Pokémon hard, so that you must switch them.

I don't think it's a visible meter, after a while I think your stats lower until you swap pokemon.
