megaman - i'd cry - for SOME reason, he strikes me as a male version of samus (with the arm cannon and all)
Bomberman - i'd cry again - there are characters more deserving then him, imo. He is REALLY cool, but AT is what i would rather him be.
Ridley - i'd be amazed that he made it in and be EXTREMEL happy (if he is playable)

I disagree. The interview where the creator said "I havent yet gotten a call from Sakurai asking for Megaman" didnt take place too long ago.

A week or two ago, and be that were less than a month away from Brawl's release date in japan, thats not enough time to send in character models, create the character, ahere him to the modes, create trophies for him, integrate his story into SSE, etc. etc., so yeah, I think hes been pretty much deconfirmed.

Thats possible, like the Sonic thing, however, would Sakurai be allowed to do designs without consulting Capcom?

I still doubt him being in Brawl, although I carry feelings of neither hate nor love of him. I look at the evidence and came to my own conclusion. Others will feel differently, but the truth is, none of us have any real idea until Jan. 24th.

Sakurai didn't deconfirm him and neither did any of Sakurai's update. So no. There IS no official deconfirmation. It's not "clinging to false hope". It's common ****ing sense. If Mega Man isn't is Brawl, I won't be surprised (just more disappointing in Sakurai for making a stupid move). If Mega Man IS in Brawl, it's people like you who are gonna have their feet in their mouths...
