It wasn't working all that well though >_>. You got punished for it a lot, and missed a lot of opportunities to do smash attacks.

I agree. Building damage with those kinds of tricks isnt Ike's game...and its hideously punishable. It works on occasion, but you use it way too much for it to be a benefit to you.

You still need to actually play before you start giving people advice. watching videos by itself doesn't make you good.
