Well I've been looking here on the boards and I don't see anything about it. If someone else has posted something about it tell me and I'll delete this thread. I knocked someone off the stage as they were coming back I did a down a smash the second before they grabed the edge and it spiked them down and they died. I tried it again with a friend and it worked. However it was kinda hard to get it right. has anyone experienced this before?

Yep! I've seen it, too. It happened in Melee, too, if you got it right. It's good to know it can still be done in Brawl. n.n

yeah..i think what happens, is that the dsmash sucks them in and spikes them against the stage so it's techable. does this get around the new sweetspot system?
