cool grapple tactic

i dont know if anyone knows this but i just found something cool

u can use Toon Links teather grapple to grab on the edge even if ur directly above it in the air or directly under it plus sometimes when u do it it has a weird animation

and i searched for any other thread but i haven't seen any

and if its already known sorry

This is pretty well-known already. The weird animation is TL's invincibility frames, which is what makes tethering so good in general. It doesn't always work when you're somewhat far away, but tether recovery tends to be better than Up B-ing your way to the ledge since there's much less risk of being edgeguarded.

Doesn't surprise me;; in Brawl the area surrounding an edge that the game allows you to grab onto is a lot larger than before.

Yea, in Brawl any tether items auto-sweet-spot the ledge now. As long as you're within range that will happen.
