Dodge the F smash?

Yeah, I've been fighting alot of toon link's lately (apparently it's the new smash fad). anyway, when fighting these lil' guys sometimes I'll get caught in his little forward smash move and I was wondering, after getting hit by the first hit is there anyway at all to dodge the second one that actually kills? I'm just wondering because usually when a TL main is fixing to lose he'll keep trying to catch me in it to get me to my last stock and that move is awfully ridiculous if you can't dodge the second strike at all.

Depending on your percentage, DI'ing upwards may work.

Overall though, just don't get hit! Play better mindgames and make better use of smart rolls ;p

If the guy planned it out then you won't get free. However, some times there is enough lag for you to jump sheid or roll. don't count on it though.

I think it's also dependent on how well the first hit connects. If he just barely got you with the first hit, you won't be pulled in by his sword slash so you should be able to DI or roll out of it.
