Unassisted Dair Hover??

I was playing a normal practice match against a computer. It was toon link vs some other character, I think it may have been CF. But anyway, I just messing around and while captain falcon was on the absolute other side of the stage, I did a double jump and was expecting him to come under me. Instead, I slid toward him in the air in the normal "I've been hit by an attack and I want to dair hover back" way, and then I came back down. I was not hit previously at all. If it helps at all I think I did a couple aerials while on my way up. Happened to anyone else?

BTW, how do you save a replay of a normal brawl?

Are you absolutly sure? oh and you can save replays to press Z at the end of an match but it must be an 3 minutes match or less.

Ok thanks. Yes, I am absolutely sure. He was on the other side of the stage and I jumped up and dair hovered across the middle section of FD from above.

I didn't quite understand, you made it seem like you were in a falling motion. Possibly an air trip/fsj glitch?

There is a video about d-air hovering somewhere. Look around the TL forums for it or use the search button.

Probably air tripping, this would be something like the 2nd recorded occurrence >.<

it happens to me ALOT some times i can do it but im not sure how, if i have plenty of matches on my wii of it happening. i think it may be coincidental, but then again idk. but if i learn how to do this on comand it will do sooooo use full. just imagine hovering uner a ledge and some one having no choice but to run straight into it and get spiked.
