Yeah, I dont know why I don't use them, they got a much better blast radius than Links and i think they are stronger aswell but I thnk in our later matches I started useing them a bit more.

Seems like Jonn posted this on the Lucas forums as well. Great quality videos.

TBH though, you need to work on your TL ALOT.

Start with projectiles and wait for him to come to you.

Watch his play style, if he uses projectiles ( or other long range moves like pk freeze) then get in close and use quick attacks, if he isnt then use projectiles yourself and then roll in and grab him from behind as he comes closer.

Stop using the dancing blade recovery so **** much.

Dont charge your arrows

Dont get above him except for sh ariels

dont get below him unless you plan to bait and block

Dont ledgehog unless he's off the edge or you're planning to perform an ariel.

Use fast falling and roll on recover.

1) Don't use the spin attack (B-up) on the ground unless you KNOW you will hit with it. Even then, there are usually a lot of better options.

2) Don't walk and/or jump into Lucas' Up smash. I know it seems like common sense but I saw you run into it plenty of times where it could have been easily avoided. You could have easily avoided it and punished him with a myriad of attacks.

3) Take advantage of your projectiles. Use those bombs and arrows more. Control the flow of the match by forcing the opponent to make ineffective approaches so you can punish them.

4) Punish your opponent. When they miss a move or mess up in some way, attack them!

5) Play 3-stock matches. Those videos are way too long.

6) Use more Back airs. Seriously it's a really good move.

I notice that you seem to be spamming moves that hit. Basically, if one hits, you can usually expect your second attack to be the same one. Patterns like these are easy to read and punish.

Oh and if he isn't short hopping his forward b, your shield will usually take care of it.

just watch videos of good TLink players. learn from them..... and you need alot of work with TLink if you wanna be good with him...like kilikan sayd

Hey thanks guys, ive been taking your advice and ive been doing alot better in my matches against computers(lv9) but i still have yet to test it out on an actual person. but the computers are still stupid enough to walk directly into my up+b, lol. And now I only use a dair when needed like when someone is off the edge I just dair and smash them down.

I saw 3 Dair's in the first 20 seconds, reduce that to ZERO. Dair, as godly as it actually is, is WAY too predictable. Once you get into Toon Link, Dair because A LOT smaller part of it.

Less Forward Smashes. I know it LOOKS good, but it's actually a ****ty smash attack. There's a lot wrong with it that I won't go into, just take my word for it.
