I'm unsure if this should be posted on the tactical forums or here but since so far its toon link exclusive i thought it belonged here. i searched the forums and didnt find this at all so i will post it anyway. i was playing on a custom stage a couple days ago because i had noticed that the shockwave from TL's dair pushed away teammates as well as enemys so i thought maybe if you landed on your teammate you could cause them to wavedash if you timed it right with their airdodge. well i was wrong but i found out something interesting. i had dair-ed pretty close to the ground and when i landed i landed on a set of stairs. to my surprise i slid a fairly long distance along it downwards and afterwards along the ground. i have tested it on numerous stages including SSE only stages and on some it works on some it doesn't. it is a great tactic for mind games and the best stage to use it on is Yoshi's island. i will update this thread with a vid when i can but my sd card is broken so it may be a little bit. just dair above a slope and when you come down you'll slide a fairly long distance along the ground the higher you are when its activated the shorter the distance but it is unpredictable and i have used it sucessfully against many people online and many friends and comps. the slope of the slant needs to be at least that of the stairs/short slope in the worldeditor but it is much faster then running when you need to get somewhere close to a slope and even to just get behind an opponent.
