ok guys so i was wondering if i could get people to rate my toon. Now you have to understand one thing please give constructive criticisms i don't want any you suck because seriously what do i gain or anyone else gain from that. so guys please rate and leave comments here is the vid.

thanks and i like to be aggressive because everyone camps and when vsing someone who is aggressive it is harder because they are always in ur face.

well i watched like half of it and ur tl is decent. first of all it seems like u cant predict any of ur opponents attacks and since ur playing marth u will get ourprioritized every time. and secondly and most importantly ur vsing a marth. that means PROJECTILE SPAM!!!! u used like 5 projectiles the whole game. even though lylat is small u should still be able to pull off alot of boomerangs and arrows. and besides that you really cant rate someone unless you play them

if u know how to play marth u should know that when spamming projectile he can just slash them away so i only use projectiles when i need to also if u know n e thing bout toon link he is amazing at comboing so why would i jsut stand there and spam projectiles when i have arguably the best comboer and best character in brawl.

You need to shoot some more projectiles off. Bombs are always fun, and arrows travel a good distance and they only take a milli-second to use. When approaching you can jump towards the enemy and throw a bomb and then pull out another when you are falling and then pop off an arrow when you land followed by another bomb. Then go in for your combo. It just disorients the enemy a bit before you go in.

seriously, you should projectile spam anyone who isn't super small/quick and can punish you. The great thing about projectile spamming an aggressive marth is w/ a little adjustment, you can hit a charging marth w/ just about any of your projectiles, leaving them momentarily stunned right next to you. I'm sure you can imagine where i'm going with this.

I imagine that if you had projectile spammed, this match would have played very differently, since your opponent would have had to radically change his game style. By limiting marth's options, it looks like you have enough control and precision with TLs aerials to be pretty good. Just work on limiting enemy attack options so you can take advantage of your priority!

Projectiles, projectiles and more projectiles! Basically create a constant cover of projectiles and punish their mistakes.

Nice Toon Link. Yeah... use more projectiles (you already got that, I presume). Projectile spamming doesn't need to do damage, it just annoys your opponent and gives you more openings. I think TL users should always projectile spam, unless against the selected few with a better projectile game than TL (Pit for example).

I don't want to seem like a douche, but use some periods in your sentences! Also, it's not hard to spell words properly and it makes our (the readers) life easier... I'm not asking for perfect grammar or whatnot, just an attempt to be coherent.

I know air dodging eliminates tumbling, but are there any other benefits? Secondly, I think you need to play someone better. Granted, I've only watched the Ike and Lucas matches, but you've been winning by a fair margin every time. Who's C801's main? Maybe I caught him using unfamiliar characters.

there is a advantage when air dodge. When i get hit and sent flying i am DI ing but at the same time as i am di ing i start to air dodge by doing both it helps me with my recovery. And about C801 he is my brother and at the moment he doesnt know his mains but they are not even close to Ike and Lucas he just likes to mess around with a large variety of characters but if i were to say his mains as of now i would say marth pit and his PT but i think PT is pushing it.

I think you have a good TL. You've certainly got the close combat mechanics down, but remember spacing even when there isn't much space. Camp out and wait for your opponent to get very annoyed, especially against marth and characters that lack projectiles.

you play a lot like i do in terms of minimizing projectile use unless really needed...everyone keeps emphasizing more projectiles, but i appreciate the fact that there's another toon link user who favors aggressive slashing over camping...not only is it a lot more fun, but it proves that tl is capable of more than just chucking **it at ppl over and over again.

my only criticism is that there were several edge guarding opportunities you didnt take...it helps to get comfortable with TL when he's not on the platform

hey guys i just wanted to tell everyone that i have started to projectile spam more but i didnt realize why it was neccisary until after talking to Diesuperfly. he said that if i projectile spam that when i am performing an smash attack weather aerial or not it is at full power since in brawl the more u use an attack the weaker it gets.
