good matchups for TL?

TL is kind of my second main, but it seems that he has alot of bad match ups.
do you know what characters he does best against?

oh yeah can you also tell me how he usually does against Pit, Lucas, and Meta? Im not really sure... I've won most matches but sometimes they give me alot of trouble.

You're better off asking who he does poorly against, considering that he's good against quite a bit of the cast. And for that question, there's a match-up thread somewhere around this forum.

Marth and G&W are beasts against Toon Link. Marth completely > Toon Link on BF stage. BF is a COUNTERPICK to Toon Link. It really sucks.

Please specify WHY a certain character counters another. Saying "X character counters Toon" without any reason attached to it doesn't help anybody.

Anyways, I havent played the game enough to discover anything other than the fact that Toon Link can combo any medium-large size characters to hell. That includes, Marth, Ike, Snake, Captain Falcon, ROB, Dedede etc. etc. Aside from the fact that he can RAR these guys across an entire stage, he just plain has the ability to do 0-40 or 0-60 combos on these guys with back airs, up tilts, down airs and up airs. His projectile game also really prevents these types of characters from doing much....

I have not discovered a certain character that counters Toon Link.

yeah I guess It would be better I you told me all the bad matcups...
