Help against Samus

I'm having trouble with my Ike against Samus. The Grapple Cancel and the constant projectiles are hard to dodge using Ike. I tried to air dodge a lot, but it just doesnt work, i usually get hit my a missile or something. I found getting in close helps, but I take about 50% getting there.

Any tips would be appreciated.

lol I play this matchup alot if they continually shoot homings at you...you can jab those to explode them and not take any damage..if super..just stand dodge it...for the grapple cancel I've found that a dash attack has enough range to [eventually] hit them...or you can dash,shield,grab...overall don't be too aggressive and play defensively.

Thanks. So if you see an opening after they GC then try a dash attack? And I should try to sheild grab? Ok cool ill try those things out a bit.
