Wave dash?!?!

Ok so i was playing a match against zelda i come down from a jump and do a shield thing i did like a wave hop sort of... I thought ok kind of wierd. then i continue the fight and i go to do a shield roll but i slipped up on the controls and did a wave dash?!?!!? Wtf?

As much as i want to believe you, there is no video proof (which would help alot) as for wave dashing itself it is out from brawl... but you CAN still waveland... so either you wavelanded (somehow?) or you post a vid

i've been wavedashing a lot in brawl so far, it is possible, altough not as effective.

hmm the only thing i can think of is that when toon link rolls backwards from the ground (meaning u mite hav tripped) it mite hav some resemblence to looking like a wavedash, but for sure u didnt wavedash. just looks

I dont know i know the first one was a waveland the second one looked like a wave dash my little cousin saw it but thats it the match was too long to record I'll keep trying to figure it out I might just be crazy. =P but im not lying

If we don't have photographic evidence or video evidence (in this case, only video evidence), then basically what you are telling us in unproveable, and worthless. i dont know why people talk so much about wavedashing anyway, when they dont even know how to use it in battle. they just use it to show of ..... and i know wat im talking about.... i have friends that think their good at melee just because they know how to wavedash....but they dont know how to use it well in battle.
is mad easy to do but not easy to use in battle

yea most of them.....i have only one friend thats mad good at melee. and knows how to use wavedash but dont use it in battle....... i use wavedash just a little with marth but not like all the time to me is still not very usefull...... i only use it when the other player is about to hit me and i wavedash backwords and fsmash..and to get close quicker to the edge to edgegurd

wow u hav no idea of how great the capabilities of wavedashing are, sure itll look like a stupid trick with a noob but u should face tournament players who know how to integrate it into their game well.

I believe you can wavedash... Sometimes i just play in Training mode for fun and I just button mash for minutes and somehow I do a wavedash. I don't know how I do it it's probably a glitch where I take advantage of my controls which i can not control what I am doing.

well ,, all the people that i have face in melee that use wavedash sucks .
the only people i know,, that know how to use wavedash very well is deva,ken, germ and alot more i cant remember right now.
