how to use toon link and win easily

well for me damge them at least 10% then you meteor smash them by the edge.
1. 1 hit 10%
2.go to edge throw protile to make them come to you
3. when they come grab them and throw them behind you then do a small jump right above them then press DownA.
4. you will meteor samsh them 70% if did correctly.
tip dont do this continuosly or else they'll find a way to stop this 60% of the time.:laugh:

Ways to counter:
1. Airdodge. Toon Link dies.
2. Don't jump into the dair. Toon Link dies.
3. Pretty much any other move. Toon Link gets hit or dies.

I could see how this would work, but there is a lot of luck involved here...

theres a better way than to throw.

arrow spam untill they they get close enough (try and keep the damage under 20%)
when they get close down smash.the knock back should be so much that they will normally have to use Up B. just catch them when they are about to do it ot in the middle of their UP B. works more than the throw.

great for gimping the first stock.

Yeah, this tactic is pretty predictable seeing as how most TL players employed it during the first two weeks of the games release, however I think most of us have learned by now that it is generally not worth going for the meteor smash because of the high probability that you will die instead of them. It is more advisable to just have effective edgeguarding tactics and be proficient at edgehogging for the same results. Good luck guys!

Yeah, this doesn't work on good players...Also, just to clear this up, there is no "easy" way to win with Toon Link. Strategies may be better than other strategies, but against good players you will always have a tough time.
