Fanned to death

The one problem I have had is that on 1 on 1 matches, when my brother gets the fan, I keep getting swatted. I can get out of it, but by that time, I've taken about 20-40 pts of damage. What's the best and fastest way for Ike to get out of someone trying to fan you to death?

Not owned, just a longer recovery time for more sword clobbering. Like I said, I can get out of it, but not until I have taken some damage

Hey this is character discussion...not item discussion. And escaping the fan doesn't apply only to Ike...it applies to everyone so go to some general discussion and get outta here!! LOL jjp...but umm hold the opposite direction I guess..the DI should get you out ?1 I don't know..I only played with items the first day I got the game then I banished them forever :(
