Here are two vids of me playing my friend who is a pretty good bowser. It's not like we played for a long time and tried to get the best videos possible, we pretty much just played two quick matches and recorded them.

I really hate his shield grab.

First match: there were at least a few times (mostly when he was slow climbing) that you coulda thrown in an fsmash. Also, the fair woulda been useful even earlier to get him spiked. That last hit of your first stock you should have air dodged, it's more reliable than pure caping.

Good KO with the fair, I woulda edge-hogged just to be sure. You were really predictable by the second stock, he saw your cape coming and just smashed you away.

Second match first stock was great. Try to use your bthrow, it's the best of all of em.

i disagree! use dthrow when racking for damage and to start the combo (u-titl or uair etc.) but then if your opponent's damage ratio is high then use back throw

Dthrow is probably better than bthrow. When i grab im generally trying to lead into something. Bthrow is really only good for Koing. I'm gonna get some better vids up soon hopefully.

I noticed that you never used the fludd. If you cape bowser and then right after caping him you use the fludd then its an instant kill no matter what. Not only that but you were very predictable you have to mix up your strategy every once and a while.

Yeah I guess i gotta work on unpredictability. I usually am with other characters but with Mario I dunno.

And I use the Fludd a good bit, but I guess I didn't for some reason in those two short matches.

Use your fludd cape once on recovery and other then that pretty nice. Oh and bair blast a bit, i saw you turn way before you approached kinda shows what your gunna do go in with a sprint and just rip it to the opposite direction at the last second. after that BAIRS!!!!! ;P
