Hi, please don't flame me if this is known, but I havent seen a thread on it.

You might be familiar with the platform canceling technique which is where you jump and hold up and do a smash on a moving platform to stick to it (or something to this effect, don't exactly remember how to do it). This cuts time and might make the opponent miss you.

Toon Link, however (and maybe link too) can do this without the intricate button pressing. All you have to do is get a bomb out as soon as you touch a moving platform that you jumped on and you stick to the platform. So far, I have only recreated this while moving but not dashing with the C-Stick (set to specials), but have not extensively so you might be able to do it other ways.

So to recap, next to a moving platform (i think, but again, have not thoroughly tested this) move without dashing, jump, and use the C-Stick to draw a bomb and you will do a platfrom cancel with only a bomb. So far, I have only done this on Smashville, but I assume it can be done on any moving platform (again, no thorough testing).

Yes, I did search but couldn't find this.

EDIT: thanks Teh Umby for the correct technique name.

The technical term you were looking for is called "platform canceling."

I find bstickng useless in general, so personally I have not encountered/heard of what you are talking about.
