I was just playing a bunch of wifi matches with my friend for blood tokens (clan related. just stressing this point because the matches were actually important for something) and each match, at least one of my 3 stocks was lost due to tripping into a smash attack or a grab (my friends mains ice climbers and lives to CG and ice block, so getting grabbed pretty much guarantees a lost stock and a couple minutes of beating yourself in the head out of frustration). thats also only counting the trips that resulted in a KO, there were numerous times when i'd trip during each stock that would usually result in harsh punishment or some other inconvenient outcome. i also play sonic, bowser, and ike and i've naturally noodled around with the entire cast a good deal, but i'm pretty sure i don't trip with anybody else as often as i do with toon link. i couldn't find a thread with specific information on which characters are more prone to tripping, but i'm pretty sure i have seen the notion mentioned on the boards before. so this is my question to other people who main toon link: is it just me and my luck? or has anybody else realized this and lost sleep over the amount of frustration it can cause?
oh yeah just another note: i am not a total scrub and i'm positive it's not because i spend entire matches on the ground and run more often than you or something. i spend as much time in the air as any other tl. lastly, and i know this statement is completely ridiculous and typical, but does it not sometimes seem as if sakurai is scouting out the most inopportune moments for us to trip and laughing his *** off in front of a monitor somewhere? that's all
