Toon Link's shield

I once was playing against a lvl 9 falco, and he used his blaster against me. I had my shield in front of me, and it did not do me any damage. I knew Toon link's shield has some absorbing capabilities, but I never knew it was like this. Does it work for all projectiles? How can I use this for my advantage?

the shield blocks all projectiles, even thrown ones, although, it won't be very effective aginst bombs, because when they bounce off, they'll explode at your feet. it would give you time to dodge or block however.

Well.
It CAN deflect projectiles.

I've seen it happening to me a lot and it's a very good advantage.

Not sure about ones that people throw, but ones that can shoot out of things, I'm sure of.
Such as the guns in the game and the star wand.

When people charge their guns or blasters.
I just stop what I'm doing and let them shoot at me.
The shield deflects it.

Don't stand there too long since Toon Link turns around and looks behind him.

I hope my concept is a little accurate.

It reflects IC's neutral B, but I think just about everything does.
Things that it deflects...
Space animal shots
Charizard and Bowser flames
thrown objects
PKT if your opponent sucks

and some more.

I just noticed, why doesn't he have his mirror shield? He's got the stupid master sword...

I have block Dedede's stars that come out after his up B. dont try to block pit arrows though, it wont work unless he arcs them down into your shield.

I believe it reflects all projectiles if they hit the shield rather than another park of TL.
Just standing still will absorb most of them such as Pikachus nspecial.

The reflecting the stars on King DeDeDe's Up B seems really useful, as it can lead into an instant Fsmash punish, which at higher percents is a kill, and a godsend to actually land an Fsmash haha.

Fsmashes aren't THAT hard to pull off. TL's is pretty decent.
