First of all I'm sorry if anyone has already posted about this but i didn't see it.
For some reason if you throw a bomb up and catch it with your Bair or Uair you can do as many Bair's or Uairs as you want untill you hit the ground but, if you catch it with a Fair ,Nair, or Zair you will throw the bomb next time you try to arial. In addition to this if you catch the bomb with your Bair/Uair and then do an Fair/Nair after your holding the bomb you will do that attack but not be able to anymore arials (while holding the bomb).
basically if you throw a bomb and try to catch it once you do either an Fair or Nair thats your last arial while holding the bomb untill you hit the ground.
Note: if you catch a bomb with your Bair/Uair the quickest way to lose the bomb is to press Z or jump then throw. jumping while holding bomb makes it so you cannot do an arial, you will always throw the bomb (assuming you have a jump).
all of the above stuff works with link and his bombs too. i don't know if this applies to all items though.
Edit: For some reason if you throw a bomb down you always blow up to the left regardless of the direction your facing and whether or not the mnap is slanted.
