I was wondering if it was easier to do bair combos w/ the control stick+a or c stick
Can someone please tell me which one seems to be easier?

to me its A, cuz c-stick you would to reach very far from ur finger, and a is just rite next to the jump button, but it all depends on preference
Using the c-stick is way more effective IMO cuz you can DI way better to space your arials. I haven't heard this term in SSBB, but in halo there's a way of holding your controller called "the claw" in which your thumb is always on the C-stick and your pointer fingler is curled up on the face buttons. In halo 3 alot of players constantly play like that throughout the match but in SSBB i like to "claw" only to space my arials but then I hold the controller regularly to do pretty much everything else.
the big disadvantage to this is switching from methods of holding the controller takes time. Say for example I what to SH double Bair as an approch then decide I want to Nair or Zair for some reason. its much harder to move your hands around to press those buttons.
depends on which finger is more dispossabel at the moment
i use both, but most the times i use c stick so i can change directions with regular stick
with bairs its w/e is more comfortable to you but if you get use to the c stick it will be a lot better. You can bair in a forward direction and back. But i use a sometimes for the first hit at least because it's more convenient at the time

however you feel most comfortable, but generally c-stick, because as hype said, you can DI much more readily/easily in the air as you do your bairs. I think it'd be easier to approach/retreat w/ sh double bairs using the c-stick rather than the A button.

It all comes down to preference, to be honest. Really, a lot of the pros like using the c-stick (At least I hear) but pretty much everyone I've ever met, save for one brawler uses the A button. For me it's the A buttons hands down, since while I use the C-Stick sometimes I don't spend a lot of time with it and am not that accustomed to it. There are more advantages to using the C-Stick, that's for sure, but in the end it depends on which button is more comfortable to use.

This is very wrong. Unless you prefer to not get the combo right.
You can combo way better with the c-stick because you can DI yourself anyway you want while still doing bair.
Trust me guys... start using c-stick for aerials... It pays off.

What did I say that was wrong? Like I said, it comes down to preference. Not everyone masters the C-Stick, man. And besides, I already said the C-Stick has advantages over the A button and never said the A button was better.
It may be better to use the C-Stick for comboing but when it comes down to it, it's player preference, since not all people use the C-Stick or may even find it hard to use.

all right so I guess it does come down to preference... If you prefer to not be able to do many combos, then sure, by all means... use that a button for aerials. There are so many up-air and back-air involved combos that can't be done without the c-stick.
Just to state it obviously, you can't use fairs while you are traveling backwards or use bairs while traveling forwards if you don't use the c-stick for aerials. You can't use up-air without wasting your second jump! You can't space moves properly due to the fact that your DI is limited because you have to use the control stick for moves.
Sure using the c-stick is a personal choice and it is your preference to or not.
I'm jsut saying that if you prefer to be good (who wouldn't?), it is an essential skill.

Well I agree with the former post. Sure C-stick has uses but if its not how you would do it normally, its not going to do you any good. Btw dont go saying things like "If you dont use it this way you suck". Thats just silly. For Example Gimpy didn't choose Bowser because he was top tier. XD

Not saying you suck if you don't use c-stick, just saying that I'm 100% positive it will make you better if you learn to use it and implement it's advantages

I agree and actually do use the C-stick for aerials on occasion. It just sounded like you were ripping on those who dont use it. XD sorry
