When he's in the air, he drops his bomb and then regrabs it. How the hell do you do that?

You COULD use Z to drop the bomb (in the air while not holding a direction) and catch it with an air dodge. But they probably caught it with A. I do that sometimes as a taunt or something. :P

Anyway, it's more efficient to fastfall the airdodge instead to catch it. You can also fastfall an aerial and you'll grab the bomb again.

I did a few times, and it's okay as a fake-out tool, but it's nothing much. Now if it was a Bob-omb... <_<

Yup I think mindgamez are the only application here. And I agree I think the only way to do it would be zair, fast fall, grab

you could drop it and then fastfall and catch it with an airdodge or any aerial move (obviously not counting b moves). You can also just drop it at the peak of your jump and catch it with an airdodge or any aerial

this can be used as a mindgame, or quite simply just to keep your bomb but still perform a regular aerial attack. It was suggested earlier by someone as a way to save yourself after you miss a dair, whether from being punished or from falling to your death.

its no big deal, its just a mindgame that rarely gives you a good reward,,, at least in my experience

I play Peach, and was about to say something XD

It's a good mind game because you can z drop, then they will generally move from where they were, taking away whatever priority they might have had, and with Bo-ombs you regrab and it's so fast generally hit them if timed right. I am actually questing to perfect the use of Bo-ombs, being one of the few reliable pulls from Peach that KO anymore XD

And anyways, my roommate does this, it works the first time, but don't get cocky with it. For the most part it's just for show XD
