It might've been found a while ago, but I haven't seen it.
Anyway, If you use anybody's b attack (I learned this with only toon link first) at the top of a jump, and press he opposite direction that you jumped on the control stick at the top of a jump, then as you use the attack (also at the top of the jump), the character will move back in that direction. You have to have jumped forward or back, and it can be done with a short hop. When you jump forward, toon linkr will will shoot back where you came from because of the arrow turn. It's useless, but also kinda weird how it works.

I guess.. But it's toward the arrow, and it gives you more of a boost forward.

I think you are talking about wavebouncing without changing your direction before hand. So the end result is you are running in one direction, jump, and you turn around, start moving in the opposite direction, and shoot the arrow opposite the direction you were running.
If this is what you are talking about, then all you would have to do to make this a wavebounce is press back before you do this.

I'm not sure if pressing back would do anything.. (Plus it's kinda hard to do already)
I'm pretty sure I'm not getting it or something. :P

I'm not sure if pressing back would do anything.. (Plus it's kinda hardish to do already) But for toon link, i guess it's a minish arrow wavebounce... thing.. without b sticking..
I'm pretty sure I'm not getting it or something. :P
And it's kind of a reverse wavebounce.. in the direction you face (forward jump), and where you go (back jump).
trust me... I know what I am talking about...
This is part of wavebouncing... and it is entirely useless.
This has been known for a long time....
You can manual wavebounce if you run forward, jump, press back, then press b, and press forwardvery quickly after you press b.
What you guys are talking about is jsut jumping and pressing b and then pressing back right after you press b. This is manual wavebouncing without turning around. Not as useful... but much easier.
