Dropping Bombs??

I saw something very interesting recently, my sis was playing Toon Link and he laid down a bomb! Like what Snake does with his grenades. Can some one please tell me how to do this, it would be appreciated, thanks.

Its actually pretty simple. You SH, bomb pull, as you are about to hit the ground, hit Z( I like to hit shield after too, just in case I mess up)

What I meant was my sis laid down the bomb but I see that it can be read that I meant Toon Link was the girl.
