Ok, I don't know if anyone has discovered this but Toon Link's final smash can be canceled out. It's only happened to me twice I don't know how specifically it's done but both times I was playing with my friend on Halebard(MK's stage). I usually jump and use the final smash to get a better chance of landing the attack. Well twice when he was on a platform or right inbetween the platform and I used it, I would catch him and Toon Link would charge foreward and he'd be right infront of him Triforce and all, but right as he was about to make his first swing, the final smash would cancel out. Tell me your thoughts on this....

It's either because the attack missed but does the initial stun attack (assuming it's done close-range). Or, the attack failed (it has a low percentages of failing but still applying the 60% or so damage).

The latter has the Triforce appear, but then disappear with no knock back to the victim, but 60% damage. It being performed near a platform may be mere coincidence.

Or, it's something I haven't seen and you need to describe it more in-depth.

It's something you haven't seen and I cant really describe it in depth. All I can say is that its happened when I did successfully hit my oppononet with the final smash. When it got to the part where Link teleports and he's infront of you and you have the Triforce holding you, well I hear the first metal screech from the attack(you know the multiple metal shrieks you hear with each slash from his sword) then the final smash just quits on me and we land on the ground, and I stand there wondering what happened.

This sounds interesting, but even if you can cancel it out, why would you want to?

That's just it. I really don't know why it happens, it's all a wierd happening, like crop circles and Big Foot.

Were you level with the opponent? Because normally it only works if they are at the same level/height as you, thats what I found out anyway.
