Not sure if this has been shown but basically its a shorthopped Bair, toadstool, Dair and after the first hit of the Dair smash down so ur opponent can't shield

unpractical??? as i c it Bair is TL's staple move, y not start a combo with his most used move

I wasn't talking about bair, but footstool. he had a hard time pulling it off on a standing opponent, if the opponent would DI other ways each time it would become practically impossible to get this combo going off consistently. anyways, I'm off to bed lol

ur wrong, i practiced this a little against the same human player in the video, the DI of ur oponent after the Bair makes no difference as long as u DI as well. Breaking a combo by hoping the person doing it doesnt DI right has been around since Melee u can't blame the DI if u cant perform the combo, and its actually quite easy to do

Although it came from someone who mains Kirby XD. Us TL mainers seriously need to hit the practice room and make some combos happen :laugh:.

I think there was a thread mentioning footstool to dair (though that thread is quite old).

I remember have seeing something in a combo video showing the footstool to Dair, i originally was looking to make a Jab Lock Combo for TL but there isn't anything to hit ur opponent with after they hit the ground to keep them stunned while TL comes back down.

The great thing about this is, is that the setup is a Bair. Which is TL's most prominent move. Instead of doing the double Bair u could do this combo then go into Bairs or Uair for more damage. Depending on ur opponent u can even grab.

True enough. Most of toon link's aerials wouldn't be able to hit the opponent while falling (and dair is obviously out of the question). That, and even if they did hit, it still wouldn't work because TL's aerials aren't weak enough to just make the opponent flinch slightly in place...

Well, yes, Toon Link's bair is a superb move, but there are other moves like Nair that are important as well. That's besides the point though. =P Obviously, this is really good to mix up with the common bair string. Grabbing probably wouldn't be the best follow up for this though...missing a grab as TL is awful. XD Again, good find.

The problem with that is TL can be grabbed in the air after the first bair if blocked. It's a cool combo but a smart player would just block then grab and also you need to be close to the player for this to work so spacing is problem for TL with his short range.

I made a few new combos that I haven't put videos up for/ need more practice on. :p

Thing is, Toon Link's sword is short. He can't really abuse spacing; also, he doesn't really have moves that are safe on block, right? x_X But that's been known since people picked up TL. This isn't some super marvelous undefeatable mind-numbing combo...but it's ok.

New combos? Yay! Can't wait to see those vids. n_n

Yea I've been working on it.
Also been working on safe kill setups.
Been at Dojo's playing till 5 in the morning almost everday this week.

I just want to make sure that they can work in a real match before I share them.
