Maining TL?

I already main Falco and marth..and probly wont use TL as much as I use Falco anywayz, but im considering also maining TL..Is there anything I should know about him before I attempt?Any tips?
And im not starting from scratch, I already have some experiance with TL I just wanna know if hes worth it and sutff like that, thanks...

Alright well if your gonna main TL heres what I think you should know:
It's gonna take you forever to kill someone.
Dair can be your worst enemy and make you look like an idiot.
.....Warios footstool pwns you. >_>
You'll be forced to spam at times.

But at the end of the day it's worth it. =)

Don't give up. I know it's all stupid and stuff, but just don't give up on the boy. He'll get you far if you really stick with him.

Well if you can only find out if you like a character's playstyle if you play as him/her/it.

Tips? I guess learn to know what [rojectiles are used when works, and learning some projectile related techs like jump cancelled bomb throw (self explanitory) and quickdraw/bow cancel (which lets you sh double arrow). Something I like to do is short hop backwards, pull a bomb then Quickdraw arrow. Then use run abckwards and jc throw the bomb forwards, back towards the opponent. Great for retreating.

And then when they approach, nair and bair the heck out of em. ALso usmashes and utilts work well, but utilt is better at low %s as it can lead to anotehr utilt then bair strings

Learn projectiles and aerials. Toon Link's aerials are good, his bair in particular can be combo'd for awesome damage.

Toon Link is excellent at offstage edgeguarding, recovery, damage racking, and projectile camping. His shield is a defense against most projectiles, but it takes practice to use effectively. He combos well in the air, due to his floaty nature. Killing with him is difficult, but not impossible.

Alright, thansk for help everyone...Just got down his arrow cancel and im getting bomb throw/grab arrow cancel and that type of stuff...and Ive got down some of his aerial things.....Do basicaly its all going along good=D

Toon Link has excellent aerials in my opinion. It is also real easy to get final smashes with him. And I don't think it is that hard to K.O. with him. I also love his bombs and boomerangs.

Tip: NEVER try to spike your opponent with dair when their near the edge, their magic hands will grab on and theyll get invincibility frames and youll fall through them to your death like a retard. i learned this the hard way. LOL.

To Keoki, there is a trick to footstool jump them first, then dair, also bomb down, dair. They work well.

yeah i know there are ways around suiciding with dair for making it safer. another way is just to pull out a bomb, way till its almost exploded, jump out, drop it with Z, dair right away and pick it up with dair, so that if you DO miss itll blow you up and you get your b-up to recover, but that takes to long to set up and is too situational >.< ive just seen a lot of TL suicides lol :laugh:
