I mean its unfair... they lock irrelevent threads faster than they sticky useful threads our mario guide and Mario match up thread should at least be stickied.. >_>

I think the reason mods aren't around is that because Mario isn't really seen as an important character to build. Higher tier characters have tons of mods around, or at least that's how it seems...

You haven't seen the King DeDeDe forums yet? They actually have a thread saying they have too many stickies. They have SEVEN, that's the most stickies I've seen in a character forum so far. ;)

We should do what the Peach board does, make one thread as an index to all the important threads, so we don't end up like the D3 board. I'd do it, but I browse on Wii. :[

I would love there to be a specific mod for this section considering...you know...Mario board gets filled with garbage threads **** near everyday and the important threads have to be constantly bumped

I suggest either Boss or myself for a mod position but I highly doubt that will happen

I would send a PM to mods/admins but the chances of them going through/taken serious are slim

Also, I read about a gimp list in one of the threads. I never could find ithe post again though. Was curious on how it's coming along. Would be a great addition to read up on, on the Mario forums. The best tactic's to use to gimp each specific character.

I don't know. I would say no though. As there's alot of other boards that have to ask for sticky's as well. Probably 5 or 6 people are mods for the overall. Also, they probably rarely look at each character's forum, let alone sit there viewing threads to sift through to see which is an important and vital thread for that character to be stickied. Reason alot of people put in the title of the thread. "STICKY PLEASE"

I say Monk should be a mod unless he's busy then BO X7 should do it. It's totally unfair that mods can hang around on 1 board but not all. We should like raid all the boards to piss them off lol. AZ is always in Diddy kong boards lol

I was only busy for that while because I wanted to make sure I didn't have to dish out 1000$ to my college because of something that was their fault...I can handle being a mod...but once again...it's all about whether or not the other mods/admins take request seriously

I got my first and ONLY pm about this today. Just a suggestion, but if all that was pm'd to the mods was "Mario boards need stickies" it's not surprising they didn't really respond, as often we don't know what to stick, which is why it's best to PM with links to the threads that need it. And as someone mentioned, having a "important links" thread is a good idea when there's about 4 or 5 current stickies and more need to be stuck.


And we're aware of the relative shortage of mods in the character rooms. We're looking at who are currently active, and what rooms they mod, so we can remove the old before we add some new, so don't think we aren't aware or working on the problem. :088:
