I searched and couldn't find any information about this...
On Brinstar, if you use Dair above that section of the main floor that connects the two pieces (the section that you can destroy to separate the floor), you will never have to worry about landing lag. If you hit your opponent or their shield, you'll get the bounce in the air and gain air control as a result. If you opponent isn't there or dodges the attack, you'll hit the floor and bounce since the floor can "take a hit" in this section.
Regardless of what happens (hitting the opponent, shield, or floor), you'll gain control of a bounced Dair which is nice.
It's actually somewhat useful, but I noticed that the "stage guide" listed Brinstar as a bad stage for Toon Link. I personally don't mind this stage in general, and this little trick is an added bonus for it.
I really am not up to speed on the Toon Link meta game, so I'm not suggesting that this is a great counterpick stage for him. I only thought it deserved to be mentioned since it's fun and semi-useful. Are there any other stages where a similar effect is possible?
