I was playing against a friend when this interesting thing happened when he was directly below the platform on battlefield and I used dair. Probably not useful at all, just felt it was worth mentioning.

Notes: when this happens the opponent only receives 5% damage, and the knockback is that of the Toon Link's dair landing.

This doesn't always work with a short hop dair, but when I hold down on the platform to fall through, then immediately dair to cancel it, it always works.

Opponent has to be directly below you, a slight bit of distance thats hardly noticeable usually won't matter.

Quality usually isn't this bad (including sound) thats what i get for compressing to a smaller size >.<

Idk if its new or not. Random crap always happens to me wit that move at the ledge.
Like when my friends grabbing onto the edge and trying to get back up, I use Dair and hes suddenly somewhere else. Like he did the L or R recovery with No lag and you couldn't see it being done.
I think Toon Links Dair is one of the most physics confusing moves in this game. ._.
