Lol, sorry about the title I was BORED.

Any who I've been playing as toon link right (well duh if I'm posting on this thread) but I never seem to be able to use his boomerangs effectively I seem to only use them for hitting them unexpectedly, so how SHOULD I use his boomerang for it to be effective.

Also how do you guys use his bombs and arrows? I use my arrows for arrow canceling and SHDA and I use his bombs to get some range and also to fake them by throwing it up, get a fair or something re-catch and throw also I don't think bomb sliding is really useful as they can pick it up and throw it back at you nor is bomb placing.

For the boomerangs, sometimes try to shoot it passed them and continue to spam so it hits them from behind unexpectedly. If you space it right, you can also catch them in a smash from the boomerang knockback.

In a nutshell, don't try to hit them with it every time. Throw it past them, throw it over them, throw it in the opposite direction lol just keep the 'rang flying to add one more aspect of "what's going to hit me next?" to your opponent's mental state.

Stage saturation with sharp, pointy things, exploding things, and spinning things is key :P

Ok, but everytime I throw it past I miss the catch =3.

Also I just figured out how to SHDA and fire the second arrow in the opposite direction, this could be useful in FFAs.

Theres lag when you catch it.
To avoid the lag you can either:
not catch it
Use a move
Shield
or grab the edge.

Just do something catching the boomerang, Aérial, B, smash, tilts ... and there will be no lag and it'll not be necessary to wait
