Expected Dair. But the Bomb to Dair is cool. Could be a nice gimmick to know in a fight, Free damage always is.

yea but I mostlty say this is interesting because of MK's glde attack has something to kind of use against it.

Seems really useful, but at the same time hard to pull off in a real game.

It works, but its much more situational than it might look. Getting the down smash can land some great damage with the pogo effect though.

psh, way to be days behind. :P
The Kirby boards have already talked about it, but I still don't know how to do that freaking hammer thing. I'm assuming it's a reversed hammer, but I haven't really practiced it.
I mean...who's going to let you run up to them and footstool? -.-

XD you gotta mind game it in.
A footstool is instant which means its SUPER hard to counter.
T.Link can trip people so its helpful and MK's glide attack...
That amazed me lol.

I actually saw this video early on and did some test last week. Didn't seem too reliable, but I'll share with you what I got.
What you guys really need to be thinking about is how to set this up.
Overall, tripping to footstool is not an effective way to set this up because:
The opponent has to be at low percentage for a close trip for you to be close enough to do this.
You're assuming your opponent is not going to tech, roll, or attack.
With TL, it's even harder because if he has a bomb in hand he can only cause a trip with a ZAC Nair
Footstool out of a shield seems best. However, if you get knocked back it makes it difficult. I found, in training, that TL can do a Dash to footstool out of his shield fairly easily. This opens up a punishment/KO game when TL has a bomb. Imagine: shielding a smash, dash, footstool, throw bomb down, Fair. In actually matches, I wasn't able to do this. I'm not too sure why of this. Maybe I'm just not fast enough, or I'm messing up because of pressure. Maybe you guys can figure it out.
Regarding when it's good to use dash to footstool, you're best bet is to use this only with a bomb in hand and you want to KO or simply do a hard punish with the example I stated above. If you have no bomb in hand, you're better of doing a Dash => Usmash/Nair. Footstool to Dair only hits twice at a certain percentage and doesn't do much damage unless it hits twice. No bomb, then damage-wise Dash => Usmash. No bomb, then safety-wise Dash => Nair.
Other than that your other opportunity for footstool are when you shield an opponent's attack which causes them to hold a momentum and stay close to you even after the attack hits the shield. For example, shielding dash attacks. Again better to only go for if a bomb is in hand. Other than that I would recommend you just launch them up with Usmash or Utilt and to try Uair them.
