toon links d-air!!!!

ok this is my first post but by no means am i new to brawl but me and my buddie were playing tonight and it was just some friendly one on one and i was falco and he was toon link and he was about to pull a d-air like always but he froze for like 1-1.5 seconds and then the d-air went through vary slow i'm not sure if this is new or not but i will try to get a video or see if you can fast fall this or not


side note:
i know you can fast fall the dair but it didn't seem like he could out of the delayed dair

explanations would be greatly appreciated

Floating dair, a classic.
It happens when you use it and you're still being sent flying up. Not really any use except for maybe syking out your opponent, and its interesting to see.

well yes i knew about that but i had not hit him and he was at the peak of his jump???

I suppose you could do it when your jumping too, not really too sure on it.

You hit him and before the momentum ended he used Dair.
He doesn't have to use the Dair immediately for it to do that.

Or I'm forgetting something, but I don't think I am.

Nope, that pretty much sums it up.

D-air influences TL's DI but it doesn't go straight from being blasted upwards to fast falling. Can you imagine how easy the game would be for TL against Fox if it did?

True, but if they're going to ask a question about TL it seems the most obvious place to go would be here... first thing..

Thinking about it though there isn't enough "new" TL's out there to actually make a separate one though so.. bleh. Vid of what OP's talking about btw.

Yah, I think it's been known for a while. I did it by accident one time. It's pretty fun.

It can be done with Sonic / ZSS too btw, pretty neat.

In a teams tourny match i did the dair glitch to get someone off me, and my teammate got sent flying into me and i killed him. It was horrible.

Basically the moral of the story is, don't do it in teams.
