Ok. Playing against a "regular" brawler.

With regular I mean a guy who doesn't read brawlrelated discussions and guides on the internet, and isn't trying to do tech/advanced w/e its called stuff. I myself am not really good, I play toon-link for a few months now and mostly against "regular" brawlers. I like the advanced techs and I must say I make good progress on using them in-battle, but lately i've been playing someone (regular) who mains Pit and he plays very defensive, and annoyingly uses (almost like spamming but a tiny bit less) the -> B skill (the orange circling reflecting sword skill). And I play on-par with him, he sometimes wins more than me etc. Any tips on dealing with him?

ps.

Man PIT really pisses me off sometimes...

I believe the term is Casual player? Someone who usually plays with items on.
Anyways, who doesn't hate pit?
If hes spamming his reflector thingy, jump over it, play defensively back, mind game him, something!

Use the Question thread next time.

Learn to DI, Zair a lot, and you can Fsmash his Side B.

Don't you mean the Toon Link "Online" thread Sauske?

Also, if you're frustrated then try comboing on a level 1 computer and practice up. Then maybe head out to With Anyone team battle with items off of course. A lot of people end up being average players there (those who don't like items and are trying to play competitively themselves).

I wouldn't spam it, but use it until the real friend finder comes back, which is a lot more effective. You can specify what type of player you are and sometimes what kind of character you want to get better at matching up with.

It's been down for a couple weeks now so I don't know what to tell you about that.
Have fun.
