Basic and advanced info on stages with specific Toon Link elements added
Battlefield
A pretty basic stage with 3 platforms. Platforms getting the the way of projectiles and such, but not as much for characters like Snake and Diddy. You can use the boomerang, angled up or down, to hit opponents on the two lower platforms (VERY useful). SHDA really limits approaches in this level. Your recovery won't get gimped by the ledges at this level, the curves are enough to lead you to the edge if you use Spin Attack into them. Although sorta useless, Your Dair can push opponents underneath the the lower platforms and cause them 5 damage. Might be useful for characters like Ness/ Lucas who are using Up-B. Also very effective towards a Din's fire spamming Zelda if you do the same thing with Dair above a platform. You can go under the stage pretty easily if your holding a bomb. Your Dair (while used just above the ledge on the level) can spike opponents who are trying to sweet spot the edge from below due to the narrow edges. You can drop bombs on the platforms and mess around with that option (Sasuke style lolz =P). Bair works best for hitting opponents above you on platforms. The blast zones are like medium-ish for both horizontal and vertical. The horizontal blast zone is a little smaller, so moves like Fair and Fsmash should kill easier.

Well first and foremost: If you get stuck under one of the lips of the level while recovering with spin attack, HOLD THE PULL AWAY FROM THE LEDGE! As in, if your stuck on the left lip, hold left. If your stuck on the right lip, hold right. Now as for the level itself, its as basic as you can get. One big platform= camping. Make sure to use your projectiles to their maximum capability here. You can go under the level with a bomb. The blast zones for FD are around average lengths. FD is all about taking control of the stage. On flat levels like this, throwing a boomerang STRAIGHT is good for stopping approaches and controlling the level. Arrows and bombs also play an important for level control. Diddy Kong and Snake can get a little too happy on levels like this. Boomerangs work good against them. You can try to stagespike with bombs if you catch someone under the lips while they're trying to recover or gimp you. A few hits of spin attack also can stagespike (the first and third hits).

The curves at the edges won't gimp your recovery. You can gimp people recovering from below the ledge (before they sweet spot it) with a Dair FROM ON THE STAGE (just above the ledge), because your Dair goes through that little tip of the ledge. The platform hovering around back and forth is a big variable in this level. If it is offstage, you can land on it while recovering to save yourself from a possible gimp from your opponent. You can also lay bombs on the platform while it moves around as sort of a mindgame. To control the level, I suggest having bombs on that platform, throwing boomerangs angled up at that platform, and SHDA'ing to prevent all approaches from opponents. The blast zones for this level are not as big as FD and Battle Field. The horizontal hitbox is a little smaller. Now there is also a balloon that hovers around the level from time to time. Hitting it will act just as hitting your opponent (deteriorating the move you used to hit it and replenishing your other moves). When the balloon flys by, and you have the opportunity to hit it WITHOUT it getting in the way of fighting you opponent, HIT IT WITH BAIR. All your other aerials are NOT to be deteriorated for no reason. Deteriorating Bair will help make your other moves stronger and make it easier to do Bair chains (because of the less knock back it got from hitting the balloon).

Yoshi's Island
Dsmash at the edge gimps! Roll as far back to the edge as you can, and get your opponent hit by the first hit of Dsmash. It will send them flying away at a bad angle for them. It usually results in an OHKO. If they can still make it back, jump off the stage and hog the edge (tether hogging, repeat tether hogging, ect). WORD OF WARNING: Due to stupid buffering, you can sometimes get gimped and use Dair off the stage if someone hits you before the Dair. Due to this, don't just randomly spam Dsmash, use it wisely. Just because you can get a free kill like with the Dsmash thing, don't let it be the only thing you focus on! This stage has a lot more possibilities. The Support Ghost, which pops up from time to time, can be a good or bad thing. It can save either you or your opponent. A little secret about the support ghost is that it pops on different sides of the stage ever time. It will never pop out on the left or right side twice in a row. Keep that in mind. The middle platform silts from side to side and will mess you up if you stay on it. Avoid going on that platform. Throw boomerangs angled up to hit people on the platform. Arrows won't do you much good here. Focus on pressuring with bombs.
