How well can TL compete

i like TL alot and i was thinking about working on him alot, but if you were a good tournament player going up against players all around your level, how would TL hold up.

Learn projectile set ups. Learn how to start a combo off, learn the stage and control your projectiles traps accordingly, come up with your own ideas.

Well to be honest whenever I enter a tournament I feel really secure with TL. However against MK, Snake and Falco, i have a really hard time against. Already have a character against snake and currently working on a character to use against mk and falco.

Make sure you're confident with TL and if there are specific matchups you know are near impossible find a character to counter it. Make sure you're fairly descent with TL before you focus on other characters and counters.

But yea TL definitely holds up.

Well, he gets me farther than marth so yeah hes freaking good. He always makes me get at least to top 8. The matchups you should watch out for are snake, mk and marth. But even those arent impossible.

Well if you are especially suited to anyone's playstyle then s/he will hold up.
This should be taken into consideration.
Otherwise choose MK.

I think it depends on how you use him. Like how & when you use his bombs or arrows.

Ill find out in the next two weeks. Im hosting a tourney that looks to have a 30-50+ turn out from what I can tell.

The next weekend I have another being hosted by Dazwa I will be attending. My first Brawl tourney with TL. Before that I went to the official Nintendo one at launch and the gamestop one. But they forced you to use classic controller and I was using my beloved nerfed Samus. Although back then she wasn't as bad because no one knew how to play.
