Oh and the bomb tricks are cool too. I like the c4 bomb recovery thing.

I still think that incorporating the c4 trick (where you just lay a bomb) into TL's playstyle could be the "next level" for his metagame so to speak, but it's just so hard to do in a match without getting punished.

I do a lot of fancy stuff like that in my play now. Bomb C-4 I've been doing for a while. Bomb juggling is fuuun.
Its just so fun! I love being technical. BUT NOT ONLINE. Wifi does not work with timing. Only offline.

Yeah I remember you made a thread about it AGES ago. But the only recent matches of a good TL I've seen use the trick recently are of quivo. I think in between stocks he set up 2 bombs on the platforms @ battlefield. Though it seemed that he was going for a "lolwtfhax" effect more than anything.

I'd like to see it being incorporated into a massive projectile trap more than anything. Like in a match before i've layed a bomb and pulled out another and thrown them both in quick succession and got both to hit. Combine this with something like a returning boomerang and you could rack up quite a bit of damage.

And I take it bomb juggling is that video (I think Santi made it?) where TL has two bombs out at once while hanging from the edge?

I think another extension to the edgehog trick is -

jump off with bomb in hand -

drop it at the ledge

press down to not sweetspot

let go and press Z to tetherhog (hanging with the tether)

Seems like a safe way to edgeguard w/o Falco spiking your face.

Theoretically anyway. It was in one of the clips where I messed up that Sasuke got rid of that gave me the idea.

The best set up for edgeguarding Flaco would be to:
Edge hop bomb lay
then zair the edge.

And if you combine dropping the bomb down before you grab the edge (technique 1) and edge hop bomb lay then you get lots of stuff.

What if you could use (technique 2) then zair the edge without landing?

You have a bomb in your hand, jump with your front facing the stage, drop down, drop bomb at the edge, press down to not sweetspot, and you're still facing the ledge so let go of down and press Z to grab and don't pull up?

Well, I tried my idea.

It works, and if you think they're going to suicide, press A to reel up as soon as you see the start-up of phantasm.

The only problem is it's harder than both of Sasuke's techs. <_<

TY VG and Sauske, you guys rock. I will definatly practice this, I need to improve my edgegame.Also, does the first bomb trick work against ROB? I would assume it would but then again, instinct tells me not good ROB player would come close to the edge, at least not with ROBs good recovery skills and all.
