Yeah, it happened yesterday and I hope you guys are pleased with my performance but I'm really frustrated and dissapointed in my failure to do better.

Here were the results-


1. DSF
2. ShadowRob
3. Valdens
4. Jem
5. Chip


Gahhhhhhhhhh. I hate this. I lost to DSF and ShadowRob. DSF thrashed me in Winner's Semi's with his Meta Knight and I lost in Loser's Quarter's against ShadowRob's Rob in really close matches. I'm really frustrated with Brawl right now because I'm supposed to win victoriously and inspire toon Link mains everywhere. But instead I failed.

Sorry for the dumb emo thread, I'm just bummed and I hope everyone can understand. To make this useful feel free to ask questions about what I did in tournament and what not. I'll probably close this soon I just needed some time :(.

Haha, thanks man. It's good I'm inspiring somebody =').

Err, idk. I was playing really well that day and thought I could win but ... I guess not! LOL I'm not so sure what's going to happen in the future for me and smash. A lot of top players in Wa are quitting Brawl for good like Jem and Eggz because of how ridiculously frustrating this game really is (which I'm unfortunately understanding myself). A lot of good players are leaving so it's going to be hard finding good players to train against especially in the winter and with Finals coming up.

Oh wellsies, at least I got revengesies when I beat DSF's Sheik in the Melee tournament with Young Link >= ) haha jk <3 alex.

Redson told me the other day that he was talking to sudai and he told him that even though me and Redson may have gotten better the gap is still the same........

Don't sweat it, man! Even top 5 is great! You shouldn't let the stress of what people think get to you. We already know you're a skilled Toon Link player. We don't expect you to win every single tournament. It would be nice, but if it doesn't happen, so what? We're just fortunate that you're still willing to stick with the game and help us out. I did get a few matches recorded. I got my set of me vs. ShadowRob (I'm 90% posititve but I could be wrong) and a match of me 3 stocking Kamaji (ranked 5th in WA and is the best Snake in the state) on Lylat.

Ugh, I wish DSF would've gone Snake or DDD against me because I know I would've done a lot better. It's frustrating knowing toon Link has one badmatchup and only one bad matchup who counters him and that's Meta Knight.

5th is great. Can you show the whole results list? How many people did you beat and what characters?

I played a few randoms who used Snake, Marth,... and... some other characters. I forgot. I played a few notably ranked and good players from Wa who used Snake, Falco, etc. and won.

Coming in 5th for a regional behind a Snake/MK, Rob, Falco lineup is nothing to be disappointed in. I was waiting for the results to this thing. Pretty **** good :D Will there be any vids?

Good job with TL, at least you can say you play a fun character (except in the MK matchup :S). Anyway we've never played, so I'm thinking if I make it to EWU this saturday we should, Luigi vs Tink should be interesting.
