So yeah I got 13th last tourney going pure TL.

I kept getting hit by Luigi's jab > upb.

Fail.

I don't know how to fight Sheik. Oh yeah, we all know the "camp if you don't know the match-up," except you can't really camp a Sheik.

Fail.

Then Viet somehow formed bad habits like using dsmash a lot and having an extremely underdeveloped boomerang, arrow, and using nair offstage game.

He's also obsessed with utilt, has bad spacing, and tries really retarded **** with Usmash sometimes.

Also he likes fair too much and tends to forget it actually sorta sucks on good people so he gets raped for that.

He tries to fastfall nair or bair when he should be doing immediately jump away afterward.

Viet kinda sucks getting back on stage without looking stupid.

Viet should stop throwing boomerangs so close to people.

Viet should stop using the VietG Combo on floaties.

Viet should stop trying to use fsmash for anything other than mindgames and roll punishing, especially on floaties.

Viet should main Marth again.

Viet should learn to Wi-Fi to polish his mental skills.

Viet should go to Puerto Rico. It's warm there right now.

Viet, let me offer you some life advice (that pertains to video games in a far off distant-universe way). Being emo and under confident about match-ups and or Brawl it self will not help you! At all. Sure, it is great to go and analyze your enemy. But if turns out that they happen to be Desu playing MK, well trying to beat him with a sad face is not exactly a good strategy.

Try being a little confident. People can perform much better just by trusting in their skill level.

And because your emo already, I'll give you emo/ factual proof of how this can work. When going in to a match with anticipation/anxiety, your reflexes are nigh on oversensitive. I would imagine you become just a little jumpy, even if you don't notice it. And you're hesitant about your decisions because you are worried about the enemy will react. With confidence, there is no hesitation and you can follow an on-the-spot strategy through to the end.

(By the way, if you shoot this down with over whelming pessimism, I'm pretty much going to stop trying to get you to be happy):laugh:

Viet. Listen to lvl 99. My problem is even though aparently I'm good, I dont want to give my self any credit. I'm too afraid to admit I have skill in fear of others shooting me down. Redson and my gf have told me that and it's hard to bounce back from getting Falcon Punched by friking reallity. If you come to LA you can expect me to beat some since into you in a TL ditto or I'll go PT on your butt. If you think your playstyle is what is holding you down, then let it go. change your style, cuz you know very well that we play the same playstyle and I know its hard, but in the end, it's worth it.

You will get better, stay in it. If you have so little respect for your TL game I'd suggest going MK. >:/

Well using it too much isn't even a good idea. It's one of the least flexible aerials you can use concerning your height in the air when you use it so it gets predictable even if you try to "mix it up" when other stuff because people know TL using aerials low isn't a good idea for him anyway.

And yeah, I lunged into to try to combo but he moved in at the same time so it became horribly unspaced.

Nothing new happened. Almost anything can get shieldgrabbed in this game that isn't hilariously overpowered so it's not a big deal. I mean once is a pretty good streak. Especially since it has a terrible hitbox (it's the latch lol, if they perfect shield it it will have no hitbox until you retract it completely, and when it retracts it also has no hitbox, it's a pretty bad move offensively when it DOESN'T hit your opponent. =( )

I'd say using less zair is a good thing, now the new bad habits need to be taken care of. I'll be playing more Wi-Fi on the weekends now w/ TL. Anyone who lives near GA don't be afraid to help me improve. ^_^

VG- learn to get into the zone. When you get into the zone, amazing things happen. Like I think I have a whole other side to me, with redson as my witness. I have my game, but then I have my GAME, I go all pro bomber or soemthing, odlly my mind goes blank so I barely remeber what I did, the only way I could recall is thorugh a recorded vid of the match, but yeah moral of the story: learn to get into the zone, the key is not to think about it and just let it come to you when you are extremely focused.

I learned how to SHBD after 5 months of thinking (Sasuke uses hax). Apparently you can't buffer drops because it'll make it a throw.

That's pretty lame. Sakurai needs to learn how to make a better buffering system.

And less on how to make broken Assist Trophies.
