Rate your own Toon Link

Idea taken from Ike and ZSS boards. Rate in a scale from 1 to 10 how good you think your Toon Link is.

I'll start by saying I consider mine 8.75/10 because I have control of all his different variations of proyectiles and stuff. But I have trouble when fighting certain matchups like metaknight and kirby and I alsohave trouble applying his ground moves effectively (except for usmash and utilt <3 those moves) because of my always in the air style with him. So, rate your Toon Link. Only ones allowed to say 10/10 are Santi, chip, jash, quivo and jerm. ^_^

I haven't played anyone outside my crew. If I based it off that, 4/10. Terrible.

Probably somewhere around 8/10. I have spacing and timing down nicely, I use all of his moves (even d-tilt once or twice/match), and I can predict others pretty well (so I use the hero's shield a lot), I just can't ibomb consistently, and I lack experience. None of my friends play anyone in the top ten, so I'm stuck with cpu's and youtube to figure out how to beat the best.

Plus I don't own my own wii, so I don't play at all over college breaks.

I got the basics, but I got the chance to see Santi, Jash, Lobos, and Quivo play at COT 4. and I was wondering how do they make there Toon link look so fast.

I would say a 6/10 just pass the half mark. I can do most the common things i just need to imrpove shielding and dodging and think of more combo's and mind games to reach a 7 imo.

I only do when I'm going to follow up with a shda, which means I have correct spacing even AFTER doing something (breathing space boomerang throw, maybe).

Depending on the timing, fastfalling the pogo on a d-air can let the second bounce hit and then land you laglessly for an u-tilt. Mostly I ff situationally, to avoid or get back on ground faster. And occasionally I'll short hop ff an u-air if I want to give my roommate a free hit so she feels better about herself.

I can't think of any way it would be useful for an actual attack, just for moving around faster. But it's off topic anyway.

So after seeing others's ratings, I guess a 6/10 makes more sense for me?

@santi- that was an awsomly funny video. you make your point qwuite well. And also if you go back and watch when MArth, MK and Ike are together... ever notice something inhumane? Ike is running faster than marth, more importantly MK, and MK is last. I think MK is just walking if you ask me.
