toon link second main?

i main falco and ive been playing fairly well with toonlink and got to semis with toon link the first day i picked him up at a recent tournament.
would falco/tink combo be effective?
the main problems i see with it are GDubs and martha but other than that i cant see any really gaping holes...

thoughts?

Falco is a good cp to marth correct? I find marth to be Tinks biggest problem. So I would say yes.

its 40/60 marth for falco but i personally dont have problems with marth when i play falco,
and when i played tink i had to play TWO game and watches and i won both sets 2-0 so it seems to be an ok combination im not sure if the gdubs were the greatest though

Game and watch has some trouble against tink and i know game and watch is a bad matchup for falco. Marth isnt so bad against either tink or falco. Its 60:40 for both so its totally winnable.

But Toon Link goes 50:50 almost with G&W.
But Marth does better if you play a better Marth by all means pick'em but if your Toon Links better then pick'em
It boils down to whom you like best as always.

In general good secondaries will cover the weakness your main in a particular area against a certain character while offering a shift of strength in another area. The main may do vice versa against other certain characters.

A lot of TL mains tend to have Marth as a secondary for good reasons. However, you need to find that out who in the cast you can play well. If you feeling Falco than go with Falco. He's not a bad secondary. Just because someone recommend character "X" doesn't mean it's right for you. I have DDD as my secondary.

If you want to be real than MK is the perfect secondary. Why isn't he banned yet? Can someone tell me?

Hes not supposed to be banned its just that ppl are lazy and cant find ways to beat a meta. Hes totally beatable its not like they unplugged ur controller or something. Well, in the case of some matchups it is...:p. I used to have trouble against teh mkz. But i kept on practicing the matchup until i suceeded.
